12 official rounds to qualify. To qualify for the Lowest putting average competition 18 official rounds are required.
The last official round of golf for the season will be no later than December 30th.
An official round will require the play of at least 3 members of the Grand Cru Golf Club.
$100.00 per player entry fee (once per year).
The entry fee will accumulate and constitute all of the prize money.
At the end of the season, prize money will be awarded for the following 5 categories:
Top money winner - 20%.
Lowest putting average - 20%.
Lowest gross score - 20%.
Lowest net score - 20%.
Gross Winnings Per Round - 20%.
The Bacchus Cup will be awarded to the golfer that wins the most categories. In case of a tie the cup will be awarded to the Top Money Winner.
In addition to the Annual Cup prizes there will be competition during each round of golf in the following categories:
Lowest net score on the front 9 – $2.00 from each competitor.
Lowest net score on the back 9 – $2.00 from each competitor.
Lowest net score for 18 holes – $4.00 from each competitor.
Lowest number of putts – $1.00 from each competitor.
Greenies - $1.00 from each competitor. If a greenie is won with a birdie the wager will double to $2.00 from each competitor.
Eagle - $5.00 from each competitor.
Hole in one - $10.00 from each competitor.
The above listed 7 categories of wagers will be paid after each round. Competitors in the Bacchus Cup Tournament will have these winnings for each round recorded and the total will be the basis for choosing the annual top money winner.
A participation fee of $5.00 will be collected from each competitor. This fee will be added to the wagers collected from the 7 categories listed above.
