On 2/8/13 a biblical story was reenacted on the 12th hole at Navy Marine golf course. Bob Shohan stepped up to the 138 yard par 3 and looked across the water hazard at the flag. With a mighty swing Bob launched the ball forward. The ball lost altitude and hit the surface of the water. Then a miracle occurred. The ball skipped 3 times across the water’s surface and it rolled up onto the green. Bob was closest to the flag and needed to 2 putt from 20 feet out to win the greenie. Bob was up to the task sinking his second putt and winning the first greenie ever to be made after a ball skipped across a water hazard.
