It will be hard for anyone to break the record set on 2/26/13 at Hawaii Prince golf club. At the 149 yard par 3 number 7 hole of the C course Bob Shohan displayed courage in the face of overwhelming adversity. Bob hit his first shot into the water hazard. He boldly re-teed a ball and hit the next shot into the water hazard. Bob did not give up. He proceeded to hit 2 more shots into the water hazard. His 5th shot off the tee box landed in a bush next to the water hazard and Bob was able to declare it an unplayable lie. After the drop Bob hit the ball onto the green to thunderous applause from the gallery. Bob’s score was 11 when he stood over the ball to putt. Unfortunately Bob’s putting did not go according to plan and he used 3 putts to hole out. Bob’s score of 14 on this par 3 is a record that may stand for eternity.
